Marriage Commissioner Professional

Many couples choose to have a Marriage Commissioner officiate their wedding and the Province of Alberta appoints approximately 33 in the Calgary area. I have been an Officiant since July 1997 and LOVE it!!

Whether you are eloping, doing a destination wedding, having a small intimate ceremony or the more traditional large wedding – I can help. Having done all sorts of weddings makes it easy for me to see what you’re looking for on your wedding day. I take the role of Marriage Commissioner very seriously – but have fun doing it! I consider myself your “coach” and assist in making you look good – no fumbling for what to say – taking it easy and supporting you thru the whole ceremony, and insuring it’s done legally.

I work with each couple to provide a smooth and romantic ceremony, look after all the details and always “defers to the Bride”. You can provide all the information over the phone, via email or set an appointment that covers the details of your ceremony. You are welcome in my home or at a venue of your choosing – it’s meant to be a “special” day! After all the years in business a lot of couples still remember a job well done and refer their family, friends and co-workers.

Planning your wedding should be an exciting and enjoyable experience. You should feel comfortable – I provides personal and flexible services. I work with you to provide location suggestions, ceremony and vow recommendations, does the necessary paperwork and and ensures you are as ready as can be to get married…
