The Ceremony

I am a romantic at heart and have many suggestions on how to personalize your ceremony to reflect you! I like to get together with you as soon as you`re ready to book your wedding and cover off the details with such things as: what you can change, add or modify, what is legal and must remain, and any recommendations I have to make your day special. I also offer a choice of alternate ceremonies to enhance your special day.

  • The Unity Candle is an easily recognized addition to your wedding ceremony affirming that the two individuals joining in marriage come from two separate families and now have one path before them.
  • The Palm Ceremony is a meaningful addition to your ceremony and speaks to the soul. This verse is about future children, your best friend, working and growing old together.
  • The Sand Ceremony is a romantic extra with specific emphasis on your thoughts and love. As you are about to embark on a wonderful journey together this verse will say it all for you and join together your families and lives.
  • The Rose Ceremony is where you present your first gift to one another after your vows OR it can be a special way of saying thank you to the Moms who have done so much for you at this special time of your life.
  • The Paint Ceremony is something new and a combination of the Unity Candle and Sand Ceremony.  The Bride and Groom intertwine their paint in unique fashion as a keepsake of their special day.
  • Hand Fasting can be done as a family tradition or an older symbolic gesture of “tying” the knot.
  • Family Ceremony is special to me and a way to recognize the efforts of a blended family.  Perfect if there are children from both sides and particularly between the ages of 4-18.
  • Breaking Glass is a Jewish tradition and carried on thru generations…
  • Jumping the Broom signifies the leaving of one life and entering of another – this too is a generational tradition and coming into fashion again.
  • Ring or Stone Warming puts your guests thoughts and love into the object you pass around during the ceremony.
